Ramadan Day 3

This is a good one for me. I always think that by remembering God every time we speak, we can only speak love. But I tend to often forget.
Thanks Yosra!

Asalamu Alaykom Marie,

Thanks for continuing to read these and find if there's some truth in it for you. Many other people feel it in themselves but are shy to speak up. Mashahallah that you are able to admit freely your short-comings.

If the Prophet (peace be upon him) could feel like he needed to ask God's forgiveness for his failings then surely we can admit to ours. It doesn't have to be here in the comment section. However, it's good to do a self-check and admit to ourselves if we are not doing as we need.

On the converse, maybe we were doing one of these bad habits in the past but now are doing better----or maybe eradicated the behavior all together. Alhumdulillah for progress.

Since Ramadan is about improving our connection with Allah, it's good to address these simple ways we distance ourselves from Him.

Marie, I appreciate your interactions. You are a dear :)
