Nasheeds During Ramadan

It's really best to listen to Quran during Ramadan.

I know that.

However, I need a beat sometimes too. Like, right now I'm working in the kitchen and I am draggin' a bit as I keep busy.

I found
these modern nasheeds on streaming radio. Take a listen, if you are needing some music too.

Asalaam Alaikum Sister,

Ramadan Mubarak!

Insha'Allah it seems like your Ramadan is going well so far, and insha'Allah it will continue.

May Allah bless you and your family and bring you closer to Him and each other during this blessed month,

Aeryn

Asalamalaykom EgyptChick,

OK, you were really hip in your lingo there, missy. I'm not sure all what you said...but I think you were positive in tone. Oh man! I'm getting too old!

Ya, Nasheeds are good during Ramadan. I don't listen to any other kind of music now (unless you count Barney).

Wa alaykom asalam Aeryn,

Nice to see you! Ramadan Mubarak to YOU!

Alhumdulillah it's a new year with new feeling and new possibilities :) I guess every year really is---you just feel it more some years than others.

Ameen to your du'a and I send the same sentiments right back to you and yours :)

Those nasheeds you linked were from "MR radio" aka a blog @ Mujahideenryder.net.

Quite a popular muslim blog for people my age. It is interesting that his website attracts many visitors nation and world wide like yourself!

I went to college with him. And we are FaceBook friends. ( So are thousands of others but I know him from our MSA- Muslim Students Assoc).

So there is the translation. Lol.

Asalamalaykom EgyptChick,

FACE BOOK!!!!!

Ahhhhhh, I get it now.

In my day, we didn't use that new-fangled computer contraption to communicate. You should see my high school yearbook's section on the computer lab. LOL!
